DYNAMIXEL adalah smart-servo eksklusif untuk robot yang telah terintegrasi dengan motor DC, reduction gearhead, controller, driver, dan network dalam satu modul servo compact. Dynamixel 2XL dapat mengontrol 2-axis dengan modul tunggal, sehingga servo ini dapat digunakan pada leher, bahu, pergelangan tangan, dan sendi-sendi robot lainnya. Dynamixel 2XL mengadopsi fitur baru yang memungkinkan mode kontrol 360 derajat dengan contactless magnetic encoder, struktur hollow back case, serta metal gear (Powder Metallugry) untuk menghasilkan durabilitas tinggi.
