Arduino Day 2017

Arduino Day is an annual event that held by the company and the community to celebrate the birthday of the Arduino. On April 1, 2017, the Arduino Day 2017 has been successfully celebrated by more than 499 Arduino communities which is spread in 79 countries.

DigiWare is one company that officially joined to organize Arduino Day 2017. This is the third time DigiWare entrusted by the Arduino to hold this grand event that only takes once a year.

This year, Arduino Day 2017 was held in the DigiWare’s training building, exactly in Kompleks Ruko Manyar Megah Indah Plaza blok I-21, Surabaya. Bringing the theme "Arduino for Everything", Arduino Day of this year was quitely took enthusiasm of the visitors who came from Surabaya and surrounding areas who participated in the celebrations of the Arduino Day 2017.

In Arduino Day 2017 DigiWare had an opportunity to introduce to the participants about some projects or any devices that can be created by using the Arduino microcontroller. Some project that demonstrated in Arduino Day 2017 include:

4. Mr. General Robot Kit (Object Follower Robot)
5. Genuino 101 Balancing Robot Kit
6. RTC-based Automatic School Bell
7. Genuino 101 Heart Rate Monitoring
8. Running Text Platform Based on P10 LED Matrix
9. OpenROV 2.8 Adventure Set Kit (Underwater Drone)
10. And some other Arduino products.

At the time when product demonstrations was being occured, visitors seemed very enthusiast to various of products that demonstrated. The enthusiasm of the visitors’s were seen while they interacting and asking questions to DigiWare staffs about technical and non-technical aspect of the products that demonstrated.

In the future, we hope the participants of Arduino Day are not hesitate to introduce their projects with Arduino-based devices to another participants, the goal is in order to create the atmosphere that is more active, attractive, and interactive among the participants of the Arduino Day.
